Maoz Vegetarian: Sparking a Vegolution in the Restaurant Industry

Maoz Vegetarian is a chain of fast-service restaurants that serves authentic falafel and a wide assortment of vegetarian food, hand-picked, freshly made and delicious.

It all began with a simple idea that popped in the heads of Israeli couple Nahman Milo and Sima Bar-on. They wanted to build a restaurant that offered people with quick and easy meal options that is not only delicious but nourishing as well.

Armed with a moderate sum of money and a unique recipe, the couple opened their first Maoz Restaurant in 1991, in the middle of the bustling city of Amsterdam. With their extremely delectable falafel and a mouth-watering fresh salad bar, the vegetarian restaurant drew in locals and tourists alike, and soon became tantamount to quick and exceptional vegetarian food.

Since its opening, Maoz has grown exceptionally and is now a world-renowned falafel brand, boasting of countless restaurants all over United States and Europe, and with plans of expanding their reach to the rest of the world. Their menu includes their famous meal deal made up of freshly-baked pita pocket stuffed with steamy-hot falafel balls, eggplants and humus, topped with pickled vegetables and signature salads, drizzled with special tahini-based sauces and served with sweet potato or crispy Belgian fries and nutritious beverages. The combination is always fresh, fast and filling, and a huge hit among customers, regular and first-timers alike.

For more than 20 years, Maoz has been meticulously working on streamlining their products to perfection. Their goal is to offer the heartiest, freshest and most nourishing meal alternative to everyone, wherever they may be in the world. The restaurant chain already has over 15 signature salads and special sauces made only with the finest ingredients from local sources. As of press time, the restaurant chain is offering the tastiest nutritious meals to a wide base of customers worldwide, and they keep on getting better.
