Bushmaster Firearms International, LLC was founded in 1973 in Madison, North Carolina (its manufacturing arm is in Ilion, New York) and is a well-known of supplier of AR15 rifles across the United States. Their rifles, as they would describe it are known for their quality, reliability, accuracy, durability, and value. Bushmaster Firearms makes rifles from different materials, from aluminum to carbon-fiber.
Bushmaster Firearms is a private manufacturer but it has a track record of supplying firearms for state agencies. Tennessee’s Department of Public Safety awarded Bushmaster with a contract to supply them 1,000 Bushmaster 16” Barreled Carbines with A2 fixed sights. It also supplied 3,200 Bushmaster M4A3 Type Carbines to the Department of Public Safety of Texas, which they delivered ahead of schedule.
Aside from supplying fire arms, Bushmaster also designed a 2-day training program to educate Law Enforcement personnel on using and maintaining Bushmaster Firearms properly. Students who pass the evaluation are awarded with a certification valid for 3 years. With this certification, Bushmaster ensures that its users are well-equipped to use their products.
