White & Case: Over a Decade of Excellence

White & Case is among today’s leading global law firms, with 39 offices across 27 countries worldwide. Established in 1901, it has since expanded, maintaining practice groups in growing markets such as Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

White & Case began in 1901 when Justin DuPratt White and George B. Case, two young Wall Street lawyers, contributed $250 each to establish the firm. While Case graduated from Columbia Law School, White only had experience as an apprentice in a law firm and never attended law school. Their firm’s success can be somewhat attributed to its relationship with Henry “Harry” Davison, a J.P. Morgan & Co. financier.

Davison took the service of White & Case for the organization of Bankers Trust Company. After that project, Davison retained the firm, having them provide legal services to the companies financed by J.P. Morgan and represent several banking ventures. After the wars and global challenges and reforms, White & Case endured, and up to this day, their dedication to bringing quality legal assistance and services never wavers.
